Laminate
Laminex is the brand name of one of the world’s most popular kitchen benchtop and splashback surfacing products. The Laminex product range is so popular, that the word is often used in place of the more generic “plastic laminate” and the even longer technical name for all plastic laminate products – high pressure decorative laminate (HPDL). The Laminex name has become so well known it is synonymous with plastic laminate in Australia?
Stone
Marble and granite have been used for centuries and are prized for their subtle colouring, intriguing patterns and durability. For decades, they have been the kitchen designer’s choice for prestige kitchens. More recently, limestone, too, has become a popular natural stone for modern kitchen benchtops. Fortunately, modern sealants do a good job of protecting stone benchtops while at the same time enhancing their natural beauty.
Caesarstone
Caesarstone is an international brand of engineered stone (or composite stone) that is predominately made of Natural Quartz. The end result is an almost completely non-porous surface that offers a cost effective substituteto natural stone. Being an engineered material, the product does not require regular sealing and is much less prone to staining or cracking when compared to natural stone benchtops such as granite or marble.
